I’ve struggled with my weight for years, I would lose weight going on some kind of a fad diet then would stop and gain it all back and then some. When I joined Revfit 5 years ago I started doing spin almost everyday and lost quite a bit of weight. Eventually I started eating right and instead of making it a short term diet, I made it a lifestyle change. After losing weight with spin I started doing some of the group classes and loved it. I wanted to get into the gym and lift weights/workout on my own but I was terrified. Once I joined boot camp, I became comfortable with machines and weights and actually started gaining muscle and loved it. It made me realize that lifting doesn’t make you “bulky” and that gaining weight can also be a good thing! The accountability and support of my boot camp sisters and trainer is the reason I’m still doing it to this day and enjoying every bit of it. I’m so happy that the gym became a part of my everyday routine/life and that’s what really keeps me going.
