It would still take 2 years before I really got serious about changing my life. During those 2 years I would start working out off and on, eat healthy for a few days then go back to old habits. Finally I joined Cajun Fitness and started working towards a 5k my friend was organizing. From there I got more serious about weight training and researching how to put on muscle and lose weight. I found RevFit bootcamp and it helped me dial in on my nutrition t lose that last stubborn 20 pounds.
After 2 years of bootcamp I lost over 100lbs and began focusing on weight training. I found a love for the sport of powerlifting and have been doing that for the last 3 years. It is a continuous journey trying to learn, grow, and get better at strength training to add on lean muscle. At RevFit gym I currently run a bootcamp, do online training, and teach spin.
